To Sec 2 cadets,
Please note that there will be training this Friday, 3 August 2007, until
6.30pm.
As you will be having your SFA, all of you will have to fall-in at
1.15p.m.You will be coming back to school after your SFA.
Attire will be mufti.
Things to bring:
1) 1.5 litre coke bottle
2) Writing materials
3) Standard First Aid Notes
4) Triangular Bandages (At least 2)
5) EZ-Link card
6) Small backpack (Optional)
Note:
1) Sec 2 I/C: Michelle
2) Please make sure that you all revise through all sections of your notes properly. Feel free to ask us your level NCOs if in doubt.
3) Make sure that your bandages are ironed and cut off the frills of your bandages if there is.

Yesterday, the 28th of July, marked another significant event on the Calendar of TKRCY.
The Current Affairs team yesterday brought glory to the school and our Squad upon receiving the title of
East District Champion!Let us put our hands together to those who have brought glory to us:
CPL Lim Yi Yan ma'am
SGT Boo Qing Xia ma'am
CPL Joanne Tan ma'am
And let us not forget the effort of the others who ensured the presentation would go smoothly, especially CPL Choo Poh Ying ma'am for her hard work and dedication.
This is a remarkable feat and we should feel proud of their achievements.

TKRCY: We Make A Difference
We are Tanjong Katong Red Cross Youth, from Tanjong Katong Secondary School. Our Teachers-In-Charge are Mdm Norlindah, Ms Liz and Ms Ning Ning. We have a long history of double gold awards (EUA and CSA), and numerous awards ranging from Footdrill, to First Aid, to Current Affairs. We participate in many activities - for example, Home Visits, Combined Trainings, First Aid Duties, Overseas Service Learning Trips and many others which are true to our motto: Serve One Another. We train our cadets not only in the different specialisations, but also train and build their character by serving the community through our various community service programs.
