NFAC Squad Training 2012

To: NFAC Cadets

Please take note that there will be training this coming Friday on 25th of November 2011. Training starts at 8a.m. and ends at 1.00pm. Please revise Casualty Evacuation Gold-Over and Under Obstacles, and the various improvised stretchers that we have revised for the past few trainings. For the UIP cadets, please remember to revise up on your First Aid and find out what you have missed for this coming training.

Things to Bring: (Both categories unless otherwise specified)
1. Standard First Aid notes
2. Casualty Evacuation Gold notes
3. Writing Materials
4. Foolscap/Notepad for taking notes.
5. 1.5l bottle.

Attire:
1. Mufti (House T-Shirt)

*For the awareness categories, please take note that you guys will be working out the details of the video.

Please take note that there will be a change in categories for Shu Wen. She will be joining the Case Management Team for this Friday's training.

National First Aid Competition 2012 Training

Secondary 2 and 3 Cadets interested in joining the FAC squad are to inform me by tomorrow.
FAC training commences on the 21st of November from 9 to 12. We will only be training 3 times for next week than we will continue next year. Those that have not registered their interest to join the squad are to do so fast.

Promotion Ceremony 2011

To: ALL Cadets

There will be a Promotion Ceremony tomorrow from 9a.m. to 12.00pm. Secondary 1 cadets that have passed Evacuation Bronze, and Secondary 2 cadets that have passed Standard First Aid, and Secondary 3 cadets that have 1 IBS Gold will be promoted to LCP, CPL, and SGT respectively. Attendance is compulsory. Fall-in in front of the Red Cross noticeboard at 9a.m punctually.

Things to Bring:
1. Full Red Cross Uniform (with cover to protect it and in TIP-TOP condition)
2. 1.5l bottle

Attire:
1. Unit T-Shirt with TK Shorts

*Note that there will be a combined training with TKGSRCY after the promotion ceremony, so all cadets will be released for lunch at 12.00pm and will report back at 1.30pm for the combined training. The combined training will last until 5.00pm

Standard First Aid Course For Secondary 2s

To: All Secondary 2 cadets

There will be a Standard First Aid Course for all Secondary 2 cadets from 8/11/11 - 10/11/11 ( Tuesday - Thursday) as stated in the form given to all of you previously. It will take place from 8.30am - 5.30pm. Venue is TK Grounds. Attire is mufti.

Things to bring:
1. 1.5 litre bottle
2. Writing materials

* Do note that punctuality is very important during the entire SFA Course. Report on time and DO NOT be late as the instructor may bar latecomers from attending this course.
Attendance for all three days is compulsory. Failure to attend any of the days will result in not passing the SFA Course.

First Aid Competition 2012

To: Secondary 1 and 2 cadets

The Red Cross Youth National First Aid Competition 2012 is approaching in February 2012. As NFAC has not been one of the strong points of our unit, we will be starting training within the month. NFAC encompasses First Aid and Outdoor Activities, with a combination of both that will be used in an open environment scenario.
The Secondary 2 cadets that have not participated in NFC 2011 will be given priority selection for this training. Interested cadets are to inform me by 20th of November, if they wish to join the NFAC squad!

Footdrill Course and Accreditations for Secondary 1s

To: All Secondary 1 cadets
There will be Footdrill Bronze training and accreditations next week, on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, from 3.00pm to 6.00pm on Tuesday and 2.00pm to 5.30pm on Wednesday and Thursday.
Please fall-in punctually in front of the noticeboard at 3.00pm tomorrow.
Things to Bring:1. Footdrill Bronze notes2. 1.5l coke bottle3. Writing Materials
*Note that the above applies only for Tuesday and Wednesday. As there will be an accreditation, both practical and theory on Thursday, please ensure that you revise your footdrill bronze early. Also ensure that your uniform is in tip-top condition.

Vietnam Cultural Immersion

To All Vietnam Cadets

There will be a vietnam trip pre briefing tomorrow. All cadets going to vietnam are required to attend. It will be from 2-6pm.

Things to Bring:
1. Old clothes (*cadets will have to carry these in their respective lugguages)
2. Old Stationary-Pencil Cases, Unused books/Unused pencils
3. Old wallets/Notebooks
4. Simple story books
5. Writing materials
6. Old stuff toys

Please report in mufti and fall in infront of the noticeboard punctually at 2.00pm. Every cadet is required to at least bring one of each item tomorrow, however it is okay if you have none of the above.
